Young children develop at different rates and some may need help as they grow. Common areas of struggle are listening, social skills, emotional regulation, and family dynamic issues. We use play and simple/direct communication to work with children to help them learn to control themselves.
The transition from child to adult is a challenge for many teenagers. Compounding this time in life is navigating the social arena, body image issues, struggles with parents, academic pressures, and uncertainty over personal identity. We strive to see the teen as they are, providing support as they tackle this rapidly changing time in their life.
Many adults struggle with feeling as though they need to have all the answers and feel overwhelmed when they don't. We can help as you seek answers to your problems. We can help as you manage today's problems, process unresolved past issues, and explore into your future.
